However, there are key differences you need to consider when deciding which cosmetic dentistry procedure is better for you.
What Problems Do They Treat?
Each cosmetic dentistry restoration is essentially a thin shell applied to the surface of teeth. Both of them are used for the following dental issues.

What Is the Main Difference?
The primary difference is that the cosmetic dentistry procedure of dental veneers requires our dentists to remove a small amount of your natural enamel, which usually comes out to less than five millimeters. This is a permanent alteration, and it is necessary so that the veneer does not bulge past the rest of the teeth.
In contrast, Lumineers are much thinner, meaning our cosmetic dentists do not have to alter the affected tooth at all. As a result, our cosmetic dentists can apply them much faster, so you do not have to spend as much time in the office.
What Is the Cost for Each One?
There are numerous factors to consider, so everyone’s price will be a little different. Factors include the number of restorations you need and the material the restoration will be made out of. The cost for both tends to be roughly the same. Dental veneers generally cost somewhere between $500 and $1,900 per tooth while Lumineers can cost anywhere between $800 and $2,000 per tooth.
