The CEREC Process
Dr. Weimar will first take images of your teeth to help with the design of your CEREC filling. This filling or crown is made with computer assisted technology that can mill the tooth restoration for you. This is all done in the dental office while you are waiting and receiving treatment. Once the piece is ready, Dr. Weimar can attach it to the affected tooth using a bond or cement.

While traditional crowns and other types of tooth restoration typically take two visits, CEREC dental technology allows for in-office tooth restoration in only one visit. In addition, the crown is quite durable, which means you should be able to enjoy moderate chewing ability for years to come.
