How Invisalign Works
Invisalign is made of thermoplastic that looks very similar to the trays used for teeth whitening. Treatment includes a series of customized trays that you change periodically until treatment is complete. We map out your needs in advance to create your trays. We determine which teeth should move when, and only certain teeth move with each tray. The amount of time treatment takes depends on your age and how misaligned your teeth are. The average adult completes treatment in about a year.

Of course, as the name implies, they are nearly invisible, and most people will never realize you are wearing them. The treatment is also more convenient. Unlike traditional braces, which you must wear 24 hours per day, your alignment trays are removable. What to Expect
If you are considering Invisalign treatment, we begin by providing you with a full consultation. Should you decide to begin the process, we will create your custom treatment plan and provide you with your aligners. Typically, you will change aligners once per week and visit us for a check-up about every six weeks. Once complete, we provide you with a retainer to maintain your new, straight teeth.
