A New Crown in Less Time
A traditional dental crown must be crafted by a technician using a mold taken from the patient’s mouth. The new crown is made from a highly durable dental ceramic or composite resin material. A CEREC crown is fabricated on-site from a solid piece of resin or ceramic. The CEREC device utilizes highly precise digital imaging in the creation of the new crown. In a short period of time the new crown is ready for placement in the patient’s mouth.
