Are you tired of having crooked teeth, but don’t want to go through the hassle and time commitment of regular braces? We understand that these concerns are pretty common, which is why we offer Invisalign® in Fishers, IN. This option allows you to enjoy the foods you love, floss and brush normally, and use clear aligners to discreetly straighten your teeth and feel more confident in your smile. Here’s how it works:

  1. Customized Treatment Plan

Once you’ve had your initial consultation with Dr. E. Dale Behner and determined that Invisalign® is the right option for you, a customized treatment plan is designed specifically for your smile. Pictures, X-rays, and impressions are taken of your teeth, and cutting-edge 3D technology is used to determine how long treatment will last.

During this phase, our doctor can also show you how your teeth will shift with certain aligners over time, so you can see your progress right from the start.

  1. Start Your Custom Aligners

Every set of aligners is customized for your treatment plan. Using the impressions taken during your initial consult, new aligners are designed to be worn every two weeks. You are able to remove the aligners to eat, brush, and floss, as long as they are worn for 22 hours out of every day.

  1. Change Aligners Every Two Weeks

Aligners are changed every two weeks until treatment is complete. Every new set of strategically designed aligners advances you to a new stage of treatment. While you can change the aligners on your own, you will meet with our doctor periodically to ensure that treatment is progressing like it should.

  1. Reveal and Maintenance

Once your treatment is complete, you’ll have the beautiful, straight smile that you’ve always dreamed of. You may need to keep retainers in for a time in order to keep your teeth in order, but you can determine that with our dental professional when your treatment is completed.
