Symptoms of TMJ

- Difficulty closing and opening your mouth
- Difficulty chewing
- Aching pain and ringing around your ears
- Tenderness and pain around the jaw
- Clicking or popping noises when moving the jaw
What Happens When the Disorder Remains Ignored?
The symptoms will only escalate if no action is taken. The disorder is not life-threatening, but the headaches will become more intense over time. You may also develop tinnitus, which is a constant ringing in the ears. Back, shoulder and neck pain are also possibilities. For some people, the pain will make it difficult to sleep, resulting in sleep and mood disorders.
Treatments for TMJ
