What It Is

The KöR® Whitening Deep Bleaching™ system uses its own formulation of a Dual-Activated™, Tri-Barrel Hydremide® Peroxide that is refrigerated from the moment it is manufactured until our dentists, Dr. Janet Century and Dr. Lisa Wolff, are ready to use the product. Most whitening systems are not refrigerated, which means most of them only work for 25 to 35 minutes at a time. Heat destroys the potency of the whitening gel, but refrigeration in combination with a special application tray that blocks out saliva and sulcular fluid ensure the product works for six or more hours in many cases.

 

Four Different Programs

The KöR® Whitening Deep Bleaching™ system offers four different options.

  • KöR Home: This system must be prescribed by a dentist, but is used entirely at home. Day and night applications are available for a period of two weeks, after which you will only need to do periodic maintenance.
  • KöR Max: Our most popular option, this method involves an initial visit with our dentists followed by two weeks of home treatment and periodic maintenance.
  • KöR Ultra: This method is good for stubborn stains. It includes a visit with our dentists, 3-4 weeks of treatment at home, and a final visit to our office. Periodic maintenance is required.
  • KöR Ultra-T: Tetracycline staining was once thought untreatable, but then this system came along. Developed specifically for these “untreatable” stains, the process involves a visit to our offices, about eight weeks of at-home applications, a final visit with us, and then periodic maintenance.
